A complete refit for Creative Cookware
Matching a store to it’s idyllic location.
In the shadow of the castle
The owner of Edinburgh’s new premier cookware shop, being located at the foot of the castle, wanted her business to match the idyllic location. Lin Cherrington’s vision for Creative Cookware, which specialises in quality upmarket kitchenware, included bespoke display items – and she asked Salepoint to project-manage the entire process.
Excellent return on investment from the refit
A main focal point was the installation of staggered glass shelves and metallic laminate finishes to the display area, using soft pinks and greens to reflect the corporate identity of the shop. Salepoint also created knife racks with metallic holders and lockable sliding glass fronts, adding to the individuality of the shop. A curved counter complements the mix of distinctive displays placed in the middle of the floor space.
The whole project also included new flooring and electrics, including spotlights and alarm. Since opening the Rose Street store, Lin has seen an excellent return on her investment with a constant stream of locals and visitors through the doors. Her first few weeks of trading were way above expectations and the success story has continued.
